im off the alcohol for a while now...…………..

Massive Saturday night has definitely got the better of me..to old to be playing drinking games in a pub tll close.

Essentially we all added 5 songs to a spotify playlist (was around 25 of us there) then shuffle played the list...…...a phone alarm was set for 8:00, 8:15, 8:30, 8:45 etc from 8pm til 12pm and if your song was on when the alarm went of you had to skull your drink by the time song finished or else had to have a shot of the groups choice. Too bad if the alarm went off at the end of your song.

Had to skull with 3 of my songs plus everything else we drank and I was a very sick boy yesterday..

Love the place.
Has everything you need there.
Pub, Jetty, General Store, Fishing, Beaches and not much more.

I'm on the lookout for a kayak, the peaceful waters of the Yorkes is very appealing, as is the chilli prawns of Turton I keep hearing about.

Got 2 you can borrow anytime mate, along with soft racks to go on any car.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

Sadly got sucked into the captain morgans (our captain is Alex Morgan so its our celebrational drink of choice after a win) and then southern comforts ..….when the misses works the bar there as well its pretty generous pouring's. Especially once she was half a dozen drinks deep....

Then the publican pulled out the two decks of cards with 8 Aces up for grab. Pull an Ace and you get a free drink.....

Then we moved on to the 'shoot the basketball' from where your sitting. Get it in and you get a free drink..

The publican gives out 10 free drinks on a Saturday night, reckon I scored at least two of them if I remember correctly.

Sounds like a great night, I haven't been able to do Southern Comfort since I was about 17 though.

If you go to Turton go to Flahertys beach about 5 mile away.
Recently voted 4th best beach in Australia.

I’ve been to many beaches and this would be my favourite.
No shops, no houses, Nothing nearby
Just Clear waters and clean sand.

Make the effort to go to Berry Bay too. Nice surfing and fishing beach.

Interesting game. Is the optimal strategy to pick long songs or short songs, I wonder? :-k

Or pick the absolute shiitest of songs where everyone's scrambling for the skip button. Drop It Like It's Hot comes to mind.

My strategy was to have a little of my drink left at each of the 'skull' song times......problem was all I ended up doing was drinking extremely quick lol.

Pity.

Hurley group rep told me WED sales down about 25% and will probably get worse.
