My daughter is home for yr10, been good so far. Only issue for the teacher has been some turd boys who yell out or make stupid noises on Teams sessions.

My lad is in year 10 and is begging to go to school tomorrow, we knocked him back, then asked if he could go to his best mates house tomorrow and do school from his house

As much as kids don't like the work aspect of school, the social side of of school and physically seeing friends is so important to kids.

Hopefully schools can get back to some form of normal in the next few weeks.

I’d hate to be a teacher as I’m reading some of the students questions they post online through MS teams to the teacher and they make zero sense.

Yep absolute nightmare.

For PE my 9yo that plays every sport he can possibly fit into his schedule had to watch a YouTube video and learn how to throw a ball overarm.

I also noticed that in maths, it is not called a maths “problem” anymore. It’s called an algorithm, I’m assuming because Karen didn’t like the word problem

As much as kids don't like the work aspect of school, the social side of of school and physically seeing friends is so important to kids.

Along with the activity and outdoor time. My boy, year11, on holidays barely ventures out of his room, at school he is getting outside and doing a bit of activity with his mates at lunch.
