Given the lack of midfield options, maybe the club was too short sighted on Bode, Eagleton and Koulouriotis and should of looked more long term.
Bode, Eagleton and Koulouriotis were all flicked early in the development, Eagleton struggled to adjust to the bulldogs but his past two seasons has been outstanding, Koulouriotis, is now starting to establish himself at the cats and may be a late bloomer and I have no doubts that the Power Players hold Matty Bode in high regards, hopefully injury free he can show the footy world that he can play.
Can anyone advisew what the power got in return for Harley

How did he screw you royally? By wanting to return home? Geez, that's treachery of the highest order...Magpiespower wrote:Stevens - wanted to go home (screwed us royally)

Could be wrong but I reckon it was part of the Wakelin deal involving about 4 clubs and 6 different players. Booney will know.

20c more and we would have had Chris Grant!
Definitely traded for Jarrad Schofield - might have been for Cummings, not quite sure.
Carr doesn't cop it from Port supporters because:
1. He never said he was definitely going to stay (a drunk Matty Primus did, but Josh didn't).
2. He didn't hold a gun to the club's head.
3. He gave the club time to work out a trade with one of the WA clubs, preferably Fremantle for obvious reasons.
Collingwood tried to dud us on the Stevens trade. Helping a team that just beat you in the Prelim get stronger is not smart trading IMO.
