One team keen to go
The other who were more affected by COVID. Not so keen so negative about the whole situation
If jets had won may have pushed up the table at west Torrens expense

Heard that the Jets didn't have covers on so reckoned they could get a win that way without the risk of playing and losing the toss.
Hmmm
Can one day games get reduced down to minimum 20 overs?

Their responsibility to ensure player safety so they don’t get lawsuit. Your first paragraph above TC is so far off the mark, never said anything like that
Can still play 20 overs per team if time permits. They waited four hours and the pitch had not changed one bit from 10.30 till 2.30. No play was possible according to the umpires. Nothing will change without sun or wind, neither was around. Umpires are trained in this and would know better than you TC.
Your bias against West Torrens shows in most of your posts TC. Just put the bloody covers on like you are supposed to, end of the story really. WT 20 points, ND 0 points. Play on

Cosi so keen to play maybe he should have agreed to bat first then Yep, didn’t think so.

So putting covers on a wet pitch would equal ?

If the Uni-Port games have been declared as draws on MyCricket and points split (would appear to be the case going by ladders on MyCricket) then I would think it's very hard to see West Torrens getting anything.
Interesting to note this (direct copy and paste from the By-Laws)
309. The following points shall be awarded in all Minor Round matches in Men’s West End One-Day Cup, Men’s
West end Twenty20, Women’s 1st and 2nd Grade and Junior Twenty20 matches:
Win 15 points
Tie 7.5 points each
Loss 0 points
Abandoned match 0 points
Drawn match 0 points
So unless this is a major typo - abandoned games get you 0 points in the One-Day Cup anyway.....!!!
Unlucky.
