All that matters is next one.
His done.....Inglis is warming up the fingers as we speak.
Throw in the drops catches and that first innings dismissal and Langer is tearing the paint of the wall.
Ha Ha,
Inglis has the same 1st class average (12.5) this year as Carey’s test average this year(13) and all bar 6 of Inglis runs be come against the Redbacks he’s averaging 14 against the fearsome SA attack!!!
Carey’s overall 1st class batting average is still higher than Inglis
Google Josh as see how he turned a run out into a stumping against the sizers, shocking keeping.
He’s scored 27 runs in 5 BBL games this year.
The fact there’s been no 1st class cricket since December hinders Inglis’ chances - see my post 10 pages back how our corrent summers are f***ed up. Same is happening in England too, 1st class cricket being treated as bookends to the season.
Inglis will be there in Hobart 100% but to mix the cordial and to feed balls to Carey in the cradle and the ramp.
Josh will go Pakistan too if the tour goes ahead) as understudy.
The Australian team is winning, based on interviews there appears to be a pick and stick in selection based on Khawajas comment on Head coming back.
Carey has another four test matches at least.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
