Using someone else's sledge as your own? Shit effort by Khawaja I reckon.

If only Chappelli came back with how's your brother going

He maybe scoring runs but so are a fair few others....his currently sitting 6th on most runs this year but has the second lowest average in the top ten run scorers. His also fighting for one spot, as he wont get in ahead of Green who is improving with every innings and offers the fifth bowling option.

I really hope Head gets in, you know my love for a northern burbs boy just not sure the selectors feel the same love for him. For Head to get in I think he will need to smash the door down not just bang on it. Also reckon there will be a pinch of salt element taken into account with most of Heads run being scored at Karen Rolton and AO. His three innings away from home this year have produced 9,21 & 14.

The Aussie top 7 is undoubtedly

1. Warner
2. XXXXX
3. Labuschange
4. Smith
5. Green
6 XXXXX
7. Paine

If he played football he’d be BOG in trial games and rounds 1-5 but go missing in September action.

I’d love him in there but you know what they say about recent form.
He will have a couple of more cracks including the “bat off” in QLD where he will need to get a score

SA 6/148

Scott out for 42, short and wide of the spinner and he edges it to the keeper.

Hopefully Hunt gets his hundred before they are all out.
He deserves it

Absolutely.

I'm a massive fan, reckon his going to be a very good batsmen. Love his in the style of a traditional test opener. Reckon he could be a good foil for Warner and protect Labuschange and Smith from the new ball somewhat.

Green #6.

Harris and Head to fill the blanks.

If you're serious about just picking your best side, Usi has to play whether you like him or not.

How's KOK suggesting the Carder should get the gig, funny bloke but I think we'll just leave it at that.

Travis Head
On seeing his disMissAL today
Terrible a half hearted push/half drive at the ball and was bowled
Terrible shot selection , he should have played his slashy medium to full blooded shot , the shot that gets him a plethora of runs
That same shot that also gets him out at times, and the safooty technique perfectionists continue to remind ;)

My advice
Keep playing your shots , its got you into test cricket , too late to bat like Allan Border now
But can keep batting like Boof and Hooksey and former South Adelaide footballer Clem Hill

It is the best time ever to score runs as an opener.
