Jo - who's looking after the oval on Saturday seeing your A & B Grade are in the GF?
Zia McIntosh leading the charge with a range of volunteers largely from the juniors.
A few years back from memory we hosted neutral Grand Finals while the D Grade were playing a Grand Final at Edwardstown and the A Grade were playing a preliminary final at (I think Prospect?) That's the greatest extent of logistical challenge that's happened to date and it went smoothly.

Re: 2021 Adel Footy League - Division 7
Last years wooden spooners vs last years premiers in a fight for dad's love as two Northern clubs square off for the ultimate prize Saturday.
For Central United, it's a rags to riches story that started last year, after finishing bottom the footy department led by Shane Cosenza and Nathan Fenwick set about turning the tide. The appointment of Darryl Cotter from Elizabeth proving to be the first of many good plays during the off-season. A number of recruits to bolster their stocks, aided by Smithfield being unable to get on the park also providing valuable depth and the Dogs were off and racing.
Brahma Lodge on the other hand had an opportunity to go up to D6 last year - declined - and waltzed in a flag to the tune of 15pts over Adelaide Lutheran. No promotion at the conclusion of 2020 found the Tigers in a rare and unusual position of being able to challenge for back to back flags in the same division. It hasn't been all smooth sailing this time around however, with hiccups along the way plaguing their season - a sacked coach, a few loses and suddenly it wasn't as easy as it was in 2020.
However, they found a way. An emphatic 28 point win over Greenacres rubber stamp to their return to that last Saturday.
Led by Shannon Schroeter and Veasna Leak, Brahma were able to get the jump on the Dragons. Jack Scott and Jack Cook two goals a piece proving the difference, and they led from start to finish as a result.
On the flipside, the Units had to dig deep to get over last years Grand Finalist Adelaide Lutheran. A Shaun Gatto inspired 3rd term and Brayden Abbott providing line breaking run, the Dogs scraped and scrapped their way to the finish - just how they like it - to finish 1 point victors.
The ledger this season stands at 2-0 to the Units, but it's this one that counts ... Brahma have the advantage of being their before, knowing what to expect.. but Central United are eager to break a 15yr premiership drought.
I'm on the Units to win by 11 points, Adrian Mark BOG.

Of all the bloody ways to miss a game.
That's devastating, he'll miss a GF for something he probably doesn't even have.

Re: 2021 Adel Footy League - Division 7
Just watched the div 7 interviews on between the posts interesting viewing was veey impressed of the way Central United coach Darryl Cotter presented himself and speaking highly of the club, board, assistants and players can see why they have improved so much
Thought the interview with Brahma Lodge coach Dene Steele bewildering talking about taking over the job 3 years ago and changing the culture didnt they sack their coach mid year after Central United beat them and culture look at the way Dene Steele presented himself no club colours plus looks like he is affected by something cant sit still sniffing wiping his nose very poor i thought

God - just had a watch of the video - central united coach seems like a great bloke & can see why they have improved so much so credit to him. But fuarkk me thats an absolute shocking look from the Brahma coach he is absolutely off his chops - really poor form from a 'leader' to be conducting themselves like that

Should they not have filmed it, I know people have to take responsibility for themselves but does not portray everyone in a great light

That was a bit of my gut feel, you'd think the situation could have been assessed and someone else (Captain, Assistant, President, Footy Director) could have stepped in.

start from 97.30 mins in - yeah agree someone else should have 100% stepped in and not let him be interviewed when you can clearly tell he is heavily drug influenced

The half time interview on the broadcast with the Brahma captain was also interesting......definitely not text book.
Well done by him though allowing the guys to interview him whilst playing.....its ammo football though, great to see different characters and cultures within clubs.
