Interesting tactics from Flinders Park today. I would say that 10 of North Haven’s 17 behinds were rushed. On 3 occasions they were from kicks between 10-15 metres from goal when there were other options. They lost by 2 points[emoji848]

Those 3 occasions you mention- I reckon if you didn't know which way Flinders Park were kicking you could of mistaken them for genuine shots on goal haha.

OMG Yes= I took a photo of one FP guy kicking a goal and then wondered why no one was cheering - he'd just kicked a goal for Havens
My new Mantra - I am no longer available to things and people that make me feel like shit

Lol, there was definitely no tactics to deliberately rush points all game. I only remember seeing a couple of rushed points but i do miss a lot of the action with my role on the day.
Pretty devastating after being in front 85% of the match and bringing 4 quarters of effort and pressure. We had the chance to ice the game but chose the wrong options when we had a couple of forward entries with the 5 or 6 point lead with less than 5 mins to go. Thats footy and we dust ourselves off and have another crack at getting out of div 3 next season.
Crazy game, nothing between the two sides the whole day, only downer is not being able to celebrate promotion to div 2 with these ridiculous 8 team comp plans, our boys will be shattered if that doesn’t secure them a slot in division 2

Suits Morphies. Just sayin.
My understanding is that Glenelg only offered up their ground if they had a zoned club play there hence the twisties. Alberton obviously unavailable, resources are stretched.

Yes your boys definitely had their chances to seal the game in that last quarter but luckily for us they didn't and after repeat I50 entries later in the quarter our boys were able to convert and steal the win.
I have to be honest and say given the clubs undesirable Preliminary final record at three quarter time and early in the last quarter the pessimist in me couldn't help but think the game had another 'Here we go again' element to it but the boys rose to the occasion which was great to see. Coach McInerney in particular was huge in the last quarter to get the team over the line.
