Compass made no friends early in the year, now they’re making sure they’ll have no friends for years - except the GSFL.
Yet his name-sake ( I guess his son?) runs around week after week dishing out piss weak cheap shots. I sat near one of there elderly stalwarts last year when he offended again and my (normally well mannered) wife had to turn and apologise to the old couple for her tirade…. They said don’t worry, we’ve been embarrassed by his behaviour for years!
There was a post on Great Southern Sports page this morning covering the incident with the Compa$$ 1 pointer, It showed a chart with penalties regarding the incident. It has since been taken down. WT.
From conversations I’ve had this morning with various people, it appears Creek was found not guilty of umpire abuse because they couldn’t be certain who was yelling out.
Surely the Club is then fined? The Great Southern Sports post showed screenshots straight off the GSFL website, it’s nothing that’s unavailable to the public.

Head to the 38:30 minute mark and put yourself in the position of Mount Compass. What’s your defence? How are you planning on getting Haniford off for this crude hit?
Attempted spoil gone wrong? Not sure that is enough to get him off with anything less than four games.
Video removed?
Its crude. Should be 4 weeks at least. Was the McLaren fella alright?

Concussion. Unavailable for a minimum of 12 days. Reckon he was out before he hit the ground based on him not putting his arms out to protect his fall.

Yeah thats not good, its a action to hurt the player and not hit the ball, interesting they showed it in slow mo replay a couple of times which makes it look even worse.
The video back online probably helps Compass, They'll claim he got crucified by Social Media and wasn't awarded a fair trial. Sentenced reduced..... I can see it happening already.

I didn’t see any bad comments online about it, but if he doesn’t get the weeks it deserves you can bet he will be crucified as will the League.

In all seriousness I reckon 2-3 weeks, can’t be any less surely.

Not sure if the GSFL have a similar document to grade tribunal incidents.
They sure do. It’s on their website.
Their matrix goes up to three weeks as base sanctions, anything that doesn’t fall into those categories is a tribunal decision - so more than three weeks with no early guilty plea and good behaviour/record taken into consideration.
Both intentional and reckless with severe head high impact don’t have a three week base sanction, they’re tribunal decisions.

Willunga take the Minor Premiership by % from Langhorne Creek as they overcame a 25 point half time deficit to win by 8 points at Willunga. Creeks outplayed Willunga in the 1st half and their lead at half time should have been much greater than 25 points, having butchered several golden opportunities in the 2nd term. Willunga dominated the 2nd half as the Creeks battled to maintain their lead but scoring opportunities dried up as Willunga surged to a narrow lead and clung on and in doing so have no doubt assumed Premiership favoritism. Creek will face Mt Compass in the Qualifying whilst McLaren will attempt to repeat their authoritative win over Strath today again next week in the Elimination Final.
