I was talking about cameras dude, could have been 156 fairly senior ABC people there but it wouldn't alter my point that "Channels 7, 9 and 10 all had cameras there and yet Channel 2 who cover the SANFL didn't."

Depends how cost productive it would be to have 4 cameras, all taking basically the same footage, when a reciprocal deal between the channels is likely to exist anyway - given all the channels already use ABC footage anyway. Would work both ways I'd imagine. It would be akin to having a go at the other channels for using ABC footage all year.

Yes, that's correct, as I understand it the ABC do have an agreement with one/some/all of the commercial stations.
Still doesn't make any difference to my point though.
