Got one of those thicker grips, feels way better in the lounge room, hope it still feels good on the course when I next get out.

I went the thicker grip a few years back.

It feels a bit better in the hands I reckon.

My putting is hot & cold at best anyway, so I am unsure its made all that much difference to my scores.

Finally popped out to the local putting green yesterday, I like!

Defintely helps with your alignment and a much better balanced putter than Ive previously had, still have to nail the swing and distance tho.

Following my most recent round, where I played some fair shyte... I’ve been heading to the local driving range on the weekends. Hitting 100 balls and using the tracing thingy.... my consistency is laughable. Throw in half a dozen dead set shanks and it’s embarrassing to say the least.

Had lessons many year ago with the great Murray Crafter.... saw me hit 3 balls, and said.... “you’re a cricketer”.... fair call.

Know what I’m doing wrong, falling into the ball... but just can’t stop doing it. I’m shanking 7 irons, it’s awful.

Had my Ping I3’s for 20 odd years, served me well. Got the blades. Starting to think I just can’t hit them anymore.

In my local Drummo’s today and hit the Srixon ZX5 irons. Pretty nice.

Back to the range next Saturday and anymore shanks with the Pings and it’s a done deal.

Mrs C not happy..

The bar at the RSL.

Wanted to hit the Mizuno’s but he didn’t have a demo club in store.

Junior got himself fitted for some club a few weeks back, as such I've inherited the Callaway's he had borrowed from a mate who doesn't play much anymore.

Hey, they're in my shed, they're mine now. :D

At that loft its effectively a 5 wood so depends what you prefer playing and what you have in the bag already.

Personally my hybrids (19 and 21) are there to replace my 5w, 3 and 4 iron cause I can control them better. I don't have much of a gap in distance between the 3w and 3h so works for me. If you hit woods pretty well you could end up with a 40-50 metre gap though.

I have a Taylor Made rescue - its on the strong side at 16 degrees... on its day, it goes alright.

Picked it up second hand from down at the Pat. A bloke I know was working in the pro shop there at the time.....

Yeah I currently have a 19 degree but find I hit it too high and would love to have one that I could hit low and get a bit more distance with, especially into the wind. Have never hit 3 and 5 woods off the deck well, but hybrids no issues.

Yeah I'm a bit the same. I've read that a lot of the pros, especially the ladies, are looking at 7 Woods instead of hybrids for the same reason.

Yes I did, so bad, I could have just left them there!

I am playing tomorrow with a mate, and drinking 837 beers as we play.

Hope the Pings don't let me down!

Pings behaved themselves today. Can’t blame the tools, plenty of operator error though...
