yeah and one of our guys did his knee right over the other side of the oval :? I felt like Weary Dunlop carrying him around the oval through mud and rain.

Don't worry about the rain, Morgan will be flooded with blood Saturday, when I go the knuckle on these Hope Valley scum. 8)

Did that sound believable?

No Gillett or Smyth for a stretch for Mitcham - that'll hurt their finals aspirations.

The Hawks have been a bit naughty this year - on and off field, which is most out of character for them.

Horrible weather this week and tomorrow, and parklands is shit for footy.. no shelter from the elements, crap ground etc.

Reckon Hope Valley would be happy to just split the points in the C and B grade, and take the morning off? :D

Ground will be left in lovely condition for the A grade then too.. caaaarn!

I'll have to catch you next time for a beer wherever we cross paths. I've dipped my toe into footy retirement and I must say, I'm not disliking it! Off to buy Mrs S Demon a new car in the morning and then stopping off at a micro brewery for some refreshments. Not even the lure of standing out in the cold all day yelling "soft college poofs" and you buying me beers all afternoon is enough to sway me otherwise 8)

Three lessons learnt today..

1. **** I’m good
2. HV selections need evaluation - C graders who should be in B grade at a minimum
3. B grade coach HV behaviour during A grade needs reflection.

Also bonus points..

There were at least 3 or 4 blokes (including the 2 indigenous kids) that i'd never seen before. If they stick around, i can't see them staying in C grade.

You weren't bad for someone that slutted around the wing with no opponent for time you actually spent on the field (except for me for about 10 seconds in the ressies  )

The two brother boys were outstanding, along with the lad who played on the wing (23?)

Selvanera was good too and threatened to be the difference I thought.

Also, was trying to use you as a a shield to hide then I was gonna pop out and take a mark

The B grade actually play a reasonable brand of footy just made too many errors, and seemed to be quite a young side.. if they’d tidied up the errors then might’ve been a different story.

A grade was good until Sandery decided to turn it on.

What is it with Pulteney and HV games and the filming of them. First the 2019 GF was terrible and my head has only just stopped spinning from watching saturday's replay. The bloke on the camera needs to learn to leave the zoom button alone :vom: :vom:

The sound of the hits and the voice out on the ground is really good. The vision is terrible

We were only talking about this last week.. often the people filming try to zoom right in on the action, then move the camera to follow the ball in flight which is frustrating.

From a coaching view, would rather have it zoomed out further so less movement required, and then you get an idea also around positioning of guys near the next phase... but.. better to have poor footage than no footage at all.
