When, which is very rare, I have a Corona, I get pissed off when the man bun man puts a wedge of lime in it, why only Corona?

Rumour has it that the Mexican's actually started putting the lemon wedge in there to keep the flies away from their drink.

CUB rep told me it was traditionally for 3 reasons:
1) Help disinfect the bottle
2) To help mask the taste as traditionally Mexico's water was worse than a dog's bath water
3) Marketing ploy

Ha! If you have to put lemon in a beer doesn't that make it "craft"?

No, that makes it lemonade.

For those who like a tasty beverage get down to Shifty Lizard at Willunga or get to a bottle'o that stocks them, the Gila Monsters Double IPA is a hearty winter warmer.

Been there 3 times, each time the food has been excellent and I love their beers.

I’ve been there twice and it’s been good both times.

Tasting Notes

A relative new comer, yet to attract many fans, or achieve anything of note.
Despite this Toby rates it as “8 studs up”...

Tasting Notes

A one time favourite fallen from grace.
Hint of desperation flavour evident, with apparent war chest bouquet

Over here in Ballarat we dropped into the local Dan's and picked up two bottles of Yellowtail Chardonnay, one of their Pinot Grigio, and a Chateau Tahbilk Marsanne for a total of $34.00. It beats $10 a glass for less well flavoured wine at local pubs.
