Been having a mix of the Wolf Blass Grey labels over the last month.
Tonight with roast lamb it is the 2015 MV Shiraz.
Will not be a drop left in the bottle(s)

Re: Your poison of choice?
Has anyone bought some beer they swear is another beer wrongly labelled?
I have some Cooper's Session Ale atm which is bubbly as hell (goes everywhere when you open it despite no shaking) and when I drink it I swear it's XPA or Sparkling. Probably unrelated but when Dan Murphys got it for me it wasnt in its original carton but the 6 pack and bottles are labelled correctly.

Re: Your poison of choice?
Not sure if its all ALH pubs or not (probably is but the memo said "selected venues") but the pub I work at is doing a new deal from this Thursday.
Thursdays to Sundays for a "limited time" we will be selling JUGS of West End or Great Northern Mid Strength for $9.90! That's basically 2 pints and a schooner for $9.90!
Whilst not a fan of either beer I'm sure this will appeal to some.
The monthly beer special which currently is Superdry for $6 a pint and normall happy hours which for us is $5 all pints (Super $5.50) from 5pm to 7pm each day will still be running too.
West End and Great Northern would be the 2 most popular beers at my pub so I had some very happy regulars when informing them of this offer yesterday!

Re: Your poison of choice?
Sad news, the last of the locally made West End kegs roll off the production line at Thebarton today. Brewing there for 160 years comes to an end.
In ever sadder news the makers have said the new plant will make them taste exactly the same as they do now.

Featured on the ABC news this morning. Lots of stock footage of the brewery, including a close up of the chimney, which was painted red & white on top of red & blue.

I heard a dude on the radio talking about a funeral at the front of the brewery.
People taking 30 pack cans down there and just drinking them out the front.
I did wonder if it was Carey.
