When the G speaks take note

Once again for the 2nd week running Nathan Lonie did not play footy
Now for the SANFL g/final
Will PP after thier big loss to GE rest LONIE for round 1 AFL 2008 ?

If he misses selection AGAIN this week I might wear Red arm bands this week
Red for embarrasment

I would imagine right now than Nathan would be very pissed off.

WEDGIE/PUNKY/RODROOSTER/RED+WHITES/BP and other rooster supporters
lets get the placards and the protest banners out and sit outside Alberton
oval this week and make our feelings vented.

Lets not kid ourselves NA need LONIES run this week against a fresh CD outfit

The story i heard was that he had some type of argument with Choco last night and decided not to come back and play for North, instead staying in Melbourne with his family.

According to the ABC, Lonie stayed in Melbourne rather than returning with the Port team to Adelaide. was very surprising as I thought he would want to see North play today. Is he even interested in playing next week?
Cheers

Oh, and yes apparently he was given the all clear to play for North today. It was his decision not to.
Cheers.

Personally speaking if he was that "keen" on playing for North then he would have returned and played. Staying in Melb to see the family when he has 8 weeks holidays coming up in a week is pretty poor.

I don't think any North player who played yesterday deserves to be dropped for a bloke like Lonie with the excuse he gave despite what Jars said on ABC after the game!

Unless he's 100% committed to the cause then don't bother playing him in a GF IMO

At the end of the day he's an AFL player and that's his focus - part of him would prob feel his season is over

I think it is a shame if Lonie does play. It means that a young guy who would bust a lung for a spot in the North side would be left out for a guy who doesn't really seem to care.
Cheers
P.S. Having said that, watch Lonie burn, win the Jack Oatey and prove us wrong!

The only thing i care about is this-
Jars picks the best available side to do the job on Sunday.
That is all.
