I’m happy with my place bet @$4.80 :D

Same here.

Hopefully he keeps him over there, he excels at the Kent stable and runs well with Will Price on board and how bizarre that he runs the 1400 well? Well f*** me!!!! Why he even toys with the notion of running 1200's beats the hell out of me, they are just wasted runs and we lose confidence in him.

He is looking as fit and strong as he ever has, he had plenty of juice left in the tank and if he could find some racing room on the turn he may well have saluted at 19's, it was a bloody good ride IMO, especially to get out of the pocket he was in, that was unavoidable unless he pushed him harder earlier which would've tired him out.

Might not be allowed in by then anyway bud. Mate of mine has shares in Great Leveller which seems to be following a similar path to Lefty.

I had a monumental f*** up by rushing my bets before heading to go umpire.

Boxed numbers 9-13 for the tri in race 8, I marked in two tri's for race 7 instead and didn't check at the outlet.

The tri only paid around $5500.

Do you think I didn't feel like myself up as I checked my tickets.

Quorn. Quorn Cup was always the June long weekend, about 2-3 weeks after the Hawker Cup.

Some years ago the track needed realignment ( the bend after the home straight was too sharp ) and there was no cup run for the first time in over 100 years in 2018. In 2019 they moved the Cup to late August ( 20th-ish ) to get some better weather, it was brutal some of the June weekends we'd been up there. Last year with COVID no races but we went up anyway and supported the town ( pubs ). Back up this year again for August 21st.

This will be my 25th year.

I notice McGillivray has gone to Eagle Farm for one ride in the second race then is driving back down to ride at the Gold Coast for the last three races.
