I think North thought the game starts at 2.10.

Glenelg 9.2
North 3.5

Geez, North like to duck and fall over to grab a free kick a lot. Umpires falling for it atm. I do hate it when the umpires have too much of a say in a contest. I'd expect us to get some average decisions going our way in the second half to even it up, that's normally what happens.

Are North just taking the p!as with their half time song list from 1987???
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

All is not lost, the girls game is about to start. Last game of the day so must be the most important game of the day.

An update on the girls game, it's been going for 10 mins and the score is 0.0 to 0.0. Feels like it's been going for 10 years.
Update. North scored a point. Game over.

Thought we played two and a half quarters of good footy, can't put together a four quarter performance yet but still winning. Plenty of improvement left. Umpiring below average.

Despite being a Bay champion he got a great reception from the North faithful.
Messaged his son Matty who I'm friends with and lives in Darwin to say I was sitting less than 2 metres away from his Dad, small world.

Was impressed to see Super standing with the Glenelg fans by the RSL for much of the match, and in full voice.

Odd game. Was very impressed with Glenelg's first term, they couldn't put a foot wrong. Also satisfied with their second, to hold the Roosters for most of it. Let themselves down to let North get 3 goals into time on, but a good effort notwithstanding. The third and fourth quarters were diametrically opposite. In the third North put pressure on the Bays, made contests, and ran hard. It looked like they had the Bays' measure. Were it not for some poor efforts in front of goal they could have been three or four up at the final change. I thought the Tigers were cooked. Then in the final term North turned into training cones; Glenelg players waltzed around them at will, took many uncontested possessions, and put the game away. Bizarre.

Grabbed a steak sandwich from the northern barbecue and it was top notch; Prospect might threaten Richmond as the home of the league's best BBQ 8)

I thought you were a fullback.

I spent the morning in the garden, got the winter veggies in after I turned the soil over with some slow release fertilizer.
Then I went and watched a mate play footy.
Got home, watered the plants mentioned above in again.
Few beers.
Watched Brisbane smack Port around.

Or do you want to hear from someone who was there?
PAFC. Forever.

I thought "Spargo and AM" was quite specific?
