Sorry I'm late to the party, but the meth at half-time in the GF rumour is absolute BS! The assistant coach that year was a cop FFS. The bloke who started that rumour was an ex-player who played one game for Fitzroy a few years back and then transferred back to West Croydon the next year because he got injured. He was confronted about it at the time and played the old "I was just mucking around" card. A few of the West Croydon lads ran with it on Facebook and Snapchat over the next few days trying to justify why they lost to a team that just scraped into finals by percentage.

As for Bassani, none of the stuff he did had anything to do with Fitzroy or the people at the club, so not sure why they have been brought into the discussion. By all means judge him - his actions were disgusting and have no place in society.

CLG over West Croydon in a good game of footy
