Not sure if this is true, but some are quoting Shane Edwards as "I love playing Carlton's grand final every year" in response to playing Carlton in rd1 every year. oh boy...

Love it!

No doubt though if they lose he will blamed and forced to face the media this week etc etc.

Ultimately if his comments mean a Carlton player run further, run harder, concentrate more than Carlton are in more trouble then they have been in. Edwards comments have no affect on tonights result.

Really excited about footy returning, more so than normal as it feels like the first real/close to mormal season in two years.

Gives me something to watch while working too since Married at First Sight is only Sunday to Wednesday. :lol:

Can't wait to be amongst a good crowd Saturday night too.

As a Carlton supporter that irks me, but as a footy follower, I love it.

The NRL came out and reprimanded a Cronulla player for saying he was going to 'pull a chick' or words to that affect in a post match interview. If you want players to be less robotic, let them speak. If you want them to be robotic, continue down the NRL path.

Humour as we know it is on the brink of collapse as it is. Let them speak!

Probably be the biggest crowd I've been in since the 2018 SANFL GF.

4pm start is ideal too, couldn't be a better time on the weekend for AFL footy.
