So many traps in that list. Last year I loaded up on midpricers and spent the rest of the year paying for it. This year the mid guns cost the earth and the 'value' traps are fire and wide. Watch me get sucked in by the likes of Ziebell and Heppell who have been shit their entire SuperCoach career. My SuperCoach tip this year is to check out my first squad and avoid the players I have selected at all costs.

I just know i will fall into the Ziebell and Blakely trap. Probably Buddy to after he has one good trila game before doing the calf at the 18m mark of Rd1
I will also probably end up going with Martin and Pruess as rucks to get a couple premo's in elsewhere and then watch Gawn and Grundy ave 140.

Lot of water to go under the bridge with trial games as yet. Not sure there will be many rookies pushing for Rd 1 selection given alot of them didnt play footy last year.

Don't like any of the those moves but your recent form is much better than mine. I reckon Brown and Danihurt are better value than Ziebell and I don't trust Blakely. Buddwah is a massive risk and his price isn't all that attractive either for a guy who hasn't been on the park.

Agreed, i wouldnt touch Brown though.
Daniher will be must have at the price if he plays pre season games
Cockatoo being at Brisbane should help his muscle injuries

I reckon Brown will be a decent stepping stone and has a better durablity record (except for last year) than Daniher. He doesn't have Joe's ceiling that is true but if you speculating Daniher you are going stepping stone and not keeper I feel. Brown can straighten Melbourne right up and I reckon he can average enough to earn a little cash and give you the option of spending more elsewhere. I'm selecting him at this stage but obviously I could change my mind about then thousand times before the season begins.

Haven't tried picking a team yet. When does the site open for creation of teams, leagues etc?

It's been late January in recent years so shouldn't be all that long.

Could all coaches please join the Hogg Shield 2021 Group. The code for this group is 401342. If we all join the group we can just go to SuperCoach to determine who has the overall Hogg bragging rights. ;)
