Harris to open with Wade by the looks as he said Lab will stay at 3

Dear me, two lefty's, one coming off a match saving 26 & 5, the other isn't a recognized opener, does Wade have the concentration to be able to handle Bumrah with the new pink pill?

I think the toss is pretty important here and a lot rides on Lab & Smith.

I would be more worried about Shami. Best opening combo in world cricket.

I haven't seen enough of him, I'll take your word for it, just loved watching Bumrah in action last time around.

Rate Shami as much as Bumrah, top quality opening bowler

Not sure how you've not seen enough of him. He's played 7 tests in Australia. Definitely a quality bowler. Streets ahead of Ishant.

I reckon Monty Burns would score more than Joe!
Has an average of 6 wish this year.
Highest score 29....his bat wouldn't even be knocked in yet.

Has slipped under my radar then, I'm usually at work when the cricket is on but Bumrah stood out for me last tour when I did get to see some action, Shami did tear us apart in Perth though for memory.

Burns and Wade to open FFS!
Smith should have the pads on when he goes out for the coin toss

Be like under 10's when you look across and the whole team is padded up.

I hated batting as a kid, only ever wanted to bowl, would do anything to avoid having to bat.

India have named their 11 for the first test-
Prithvi Shaw
Mayank Agarwal
Cheteshwar Pujara
Virat Kohli (c)
Ajinkya Rahane
Hanuma Vihari
Wriddhiman Saha (wk)
Ravichandran Ashwin
Umesh Yadav
Mohammed Shami
Jasprit Bumrah

So Saha gets the nod over Pant and Yadav completes the pace trio, the Australians have had issues with their selection but I'm keen to see how India's selections go especially Yadav as the third seamer and surprisingly, Shaw being picked over Gill.

Assuming the predicted Aussie side is the one that will play tomorrow- I thought Harris was a certainty to play after he came into the squad, gee I hope Burns goes well but like everyone else I have no confidence, hopefully he can prove us wrong. Langer and the selectors obviously see Wade as a Simon Katich type batsman where he can bat anywhere in the top 6, hopefully he goes well same as Green on debut. The rest of the team obviously picks itself.

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow and the main thing I'm looking forward to in this series (apart from seeing Australia win) is Nathan Lyon taking 400 test wickets, he needs 10 to reach that milestone.
