Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
Blyth have appointed local school teacher Tim Packer as the new A Grade coach.
Not sure what happened with Bassani but surprised Blyth made the move.

Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
A very nice write up about Jacob Wehr ( Balaklave ) on the AFL website. Potentially could get picked up in this year draft as mature age recruit. Great effort by the young lad and good luck to him.

Great signing for the Bombers - let's hope there are some pretty mobile goal umpires on the Plains for 2021!Dutchy wrote:Fair signing

Good!! Someone has to start the conversation!! One of the best league's (geographically speaking) and if we keep going the way we are the league will dissolve into a faint memory.magpieeagle wrote:A rumour from the IGA veranda, United voted no confidence in the board.

When it came to board elections to fill the vacant positions as there were no nominations it was proposed and accepted that for 2021 the league revert to a director from each club (8) plus a three person executive of President and 2 vice presidents

Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
Butcher playing 6-8 games then heading to Victoria to play under his old man. Being paid peanuts compared to what he could get/ has been offered. He is really close mates with Daniel Healy and Luke McCabe who are back heavily involved at Hamley. I spoke with Matt Norman the coach who is a close mate and he felt the Butcher signing will do wonders for enthusiasm for the club and also recruiting new players. The association needs a competitive Hamley Bridge. Good on them for getting Butcher, I’m looking forward to heading out and watching a couple of games next season.

Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
Thought this may have been the case - Hamley just need to fix their PR up a bit, but you can't fault them for wanting to share enthusiasm in the Club and town.happyhawk wrote:Butcher playing 6-8 games then heading to Victoria to play under his old man. Hopefully for the sake of the APFL and HB township Dan Healy and Luke McCabe can work a bit of magic at the Bombers!
