The pizza guy lied did he...…..if true that should be a jail sentence because he wont be able to afford the cost of lawsuits from businesses he should face.

Unfortunately under the act it is not an offence to lie so he cannot be charged with anything

He said he ordered a pizza and the assumption was he caught the virus from the pizza box. Truth is that he was working at the pizza bar and caught rhe virus from the guy who was the security fuard at Peppers.

They thought the virus had changed I guess and they thought the virus had been transferred on the pizza box rather than airborne

They thought he just bought a pizza from there (there is another pizza bar worker that had COVID. So they thought if a customer could have got it, then any customer over that period might have got it and then their close contacts etc etc.

Instead he worked there as well, so it was transmitted as a close contact and there is no reason to think that any customers would have got COVID.
