As much as we would like it, I just can't see those in charge making a bold decision and jumping straight to open slather.

Then come the end of November they will go to no quarantine at all, meaning those that did 14 days will be getting out at roughly the same time as those that just waited in victoria anyway.
Well I was sort of right, end of the month its no quarantine at all.
While I was wrong that they'd do it in one jump, I was right that they continued to make conservative decisions. They basically cancelled the interim step altogether and made everyone wait til the end of the month!
Pretty much the same thing from the situation that affects me.
I may go to Hobart for February and March if it stays safe, as I've been offered an attractive job there for that period. It depends on further negotiation over pay, and suitable car and accommodation provision. (I've been declining such medic\al locum offers all 2020.)
I hate that I’ve walked on egg shells in this state for almost a year.. that life has changed, I’ve towed the line and done what’s asked.. hand shakes, high 5’s, drinking in a pub.. everything has been compromised - for the greater good.
Yet, more and more arrivals continue to land in SA each day, thousands upon thousands.. and suddenly we get another few positive results today and Henny Penny the world is ending again.
If SA Health was dead serious about this stupid virus surely they’d take more measures to mitigate the risk coming into the state instead of making everyone run around like idiots inside the state then blame them when a case does pop up.
Spurrier should resign she’s an embarrassment

The Fed Govt should have had a centralised quarantine set up for international arrivals the whole time.
