If you wanna fix this league..... Remove Angle Vale and go back to having 7 team comp again and bring the bye back. I personally think it’s the worst decision the league has made by allowing Angle Vale to join. Constant crowd abuse/reports, No netball comp, worst ground/changerooms in the league. Give me one positive that they have bought to the league since joining 5 years ago?

I have spoken to their president and coaching panel on several occasions and not once did they say anything against the league,
I think there are faults within every league having been involved with amateur as well as country football in all zones, lots of people are very sensitive when it comes to on anf off field issues in general the behaviuor of players and spectators is far better than 10-15 years ago....people need to accept it for what it it ….amateur football run by mainly volunteers.[/quote]
Balak are not accepting it and want out.
Bute are very grateful for playing this year and certainly won’t be tipping on a league that let them in when ours didn’t go ahead.

Had to delete a comment but HBFC have had talks and meetings with the WRC about improvement's to which the WRC have replied with the idea of with Council grants and other grants on offer to completely rebuild, they have together been on tours of other regional and metro clubs and the next stage is to get drawings done up, As they are a Town sporting and community club which is regularly open Friday nights for towns people to socialise the council will help with the rebuild, it may be other 12-18 mths away but the council wants the community club to be used by all codes which it nearly does now being a area regularly used by the school for functions.

This will throw the cat amongst the pigeons. Would be disappointing but can’t blame them. Depends we’re their membership base lives % wise but I’m guessing they’ll vote to go, and Some greater power blocks it.

Fair play to Balak, their being very honest about their reasoning for the attempted move.

They released a statement.

Absolutely slammed the leagues decision to include AV in the comp and pretty much slammed everyteam South of Balak.

Ultimately said the clubs south of Adelaide make the comp feel like a suburban comp with all the issues suburban comps have from player behaviour to crowd and coach behaviour issue. Said whenever they play a team South of Balak their attendances are down due to the issues and they lose heaps of income because of that. The NEFL feels and is a country comp which they want to be part of.

Does there need to be big changes for the comp?

Just throwing it out there
1) Angle Vale, Two Wells and Virginia to the amateurs, moving forward you would expect these towns to dominate against the tiny other towns in the league.
The other teams to Yorkes or North Eastern.
2) AV, TW, V and the 3 Gawler clubs make a league
Other clubs to B&L, Yorkes and NE

Maybe there needs to ba a complete restructure for the inner North of the state covering AP, BL&G, YP and NE.
AP-GC, SG, Will, AV, TW and V
B&L- Mallala, Fre, Kap, Nuri, Tan, Ang, RSMU and BD.
NE-NC, SC, BBH, BS, BSR, MinMan, SS, Balak, HB
YP- current teams plus HW and United

Or if you want all leagues to have no byes, United to NE, SS to B&L and BD to Hills Central
