Coopers have just renamed the Session Ale to.....Pacific Pale Ale.....('Pacific' hey who knew......and here I thought the Pacific Ocean was the other side of the country from Regency Park)

Got back from Tassie last week and did the Boag’s tour whilst in Launceston. Boag’s XXX Ale (Boag’s Red) is one of the best beers I’ve ever had and if anyone here in Adelaide sells it they have a new customer...

Tried an Asahi beer for 1st time last weekend as it was on special with Dans card.
Dry Black.
And i must say it surprisingly nice. A real clean beer.

Almost a religious experience when I went there, many of their unique beers never leave the Tassie border sadly

Had it off the tap at the Callie the other night, found it was pretty good.

Haven't heard anyone call them an echo since the 80s, well before I drank beer!

Did our 1st visit to the Woolshed Brewery while up in Renmark last week, fantastic spot.

The Hard Lemonade certainly packs a punch, a mate had a few there and then took a 6 pack back to camp for the night, he smashed them in 2 hours and was in bed shortly after  He said they feel like they have codeine in them!

Personally I loved the Summer Ale, cracking beer, will be hunting some down in Adelaide.

When COVID had us in lockdown and LM got onto the deliveries I took a carton of the Summer Ale, agree, really easy drinking.

Love this place.
I’m going there again in a couple of weeks.

I always try the paddles so I can taste each drink before getting stuck into the pints.
Even the ruby grapefruit goes alright.

The only drink I didn’t like was the orange flavoured beer.
I think it was a lager from memory but it tasted all wrong.
