Good point, I'm not sure if Warne has done any work with Mitch Swepson but when on commentary during the test series last summer Warne was constantly promoting Swepson to either partner Nathan Lyon when the selectors want to pick two spinners in the test team or he be the one to take Lyon's spot once he retires. You'd hope CA would get Warne to work with Pope as he is a quiet exciting prospect.

Swepson does work with Craig Howard, the ex-Victorian spinner who was ruined by injuries

Hope Davis makes runs.

Disappointing to see Head fail - I feel like he's going to be constantly under pressure his whole Australia career, and on a deck like Karen Rolton really needed to cash in.

He's under pressure all the time because he gets himself out all the time. How often does he hit it straight to a fielder in the deep? How often does he get sucked into a trap being set?
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Yep, takes the bait far too easily. Someone of his ability should be able to bat for 2 days on that deck against that attack

Interesting listening to him on 5AA the other night, they asked if he had ever spent anytime with Warnie and said only a few minutes while he was commentating at AO.

Why wouldn't CA make sure Warnie does some work with any up and coming leggie in the country?

At a guess I’m saying Warnie doesn’t do a whole lot unless their is some decent dollar signs!!

Not sure CA would be in a position to be paying extra on top of its current set up for individual coaching

In a year of covid related uncertainty, it's reassuring to see the Redbacks bring back some normality to our lives with another trademark batting collapse
