Well then he's just being a greedy dick.
Exactly why they are just waiting to match rather than offer.
Carlton, Melbourne, Suns surely would look at him. I’d give him $800k for 4 years. We’ve just freed up more than that with Kruezer and Simpson retiring.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Played 16 games in 2016 ( missed 2 lots of 3 with hamstring ), played 20 games in 2017 ( missed 3 with his foot ), missed all of 2018 with his foot, played 22 last year and 12 of 17 this year. His injury concerns are his foot and hamstring.
Now his foot is right and you break it down, he's missed 11 games in 5 years. His body is as right as most.
6 in 2016 3 in 2017 22 in 2018 0 in 2019 5 in 2020 = 36 in 5 years

I wrote 18 off as an outlier, his foot injury was nasty, that's no longer a problem...
#BREAKING: The Adelaide Football Club is investigating after players Brad Crouch and Tyson Stengle were "allegedly caught in the possession of an illicit substance" in the city. The club says it's understood neither will be charged - more to come.

No surprise what so ever. The drug culture in the AFL/SANFL has been rife for years now just like in society.
The only shock is that only two of the players were found in possession.

Apart from Sloane, who else is taking a large slice of your cap?
I don't think they're worried about the money, he wants 4 years and they're not prepared to give him that length and I cannot work out why.
In a rebuild, best and fairest winner, 26, doesn't want to leave, they've got pick 1,8,20,30,44,48 and 60 soo they've got loads of points if they want to match a F/Son bid, they've got 3 in the top 20 ( two top 10 ) and may pick up more before now and then.
If they truly want pick 2 bad enough they must have their eyes on two they really, really want.

If Gold Coast and Carlton have taught us anything its that is all good and well to load up on draft picks but if you don't have the mature bodies to protect the high draft picks then you just ruin them.
