Perhaps they had a criteria of 100 games or so?
I would have squeezed Mark Naley in.
Peter Dean and Tom Alvin probably close but you can't select them all.

His missus is hot though!
Nope, it's just ten teams are now at their level.Booney wrote:Was thinking about David Teague last night and how he's handled his job at Carlton, was surprised to look up the stats, but also surprised at how quickly Carlton have moved away from the SOS inspired GWS-left overs rebuild.
Teague took over in round 12 of 2019, in the remaining 11 games they went :
15 beat Brisbane
-3 lost to the Bulldogs
4 beat Fremantle
-5 lost to Melbourne
7 beat Sydney
24 beat Gold Coast
27 beat Adelaide
-24 lost to West Coast
-28 lost to Richmond
10 beat St Kilda
-68 lost to Geelong
Pretty good considering the position Bolton got them into, the only heavy losses to the sides who finished 1st, 3rd and 5th.
In 2020 :
-24 lost to Richmond
-1 lost to Melbourne
2 beat Geelong
1 beat Essendon
So he's won 8 (4 under 7 points) and lost 7 (3 under a goal).
Clearly he's got them in a better spot than Bolton did.
Have the Blues turned the corner?
Stick with what works I reckon.Booney wrote:Look at you sprinkling your glass half full around here.

We might win all 4. We should win 3. We more than likely will win 2. We also could lose 3. That's our lot in life (being a Carlton supporter).Spargo wrote:They could easily win their next 4
Would rather the reverse tbhBooney wrote:Looks like Simpsons last game this week, Betts looks likely to play on.
Complete opposite to what I would do.Booney wrote:Looks like Simpsons last game this week, Betts looks likely to play on.
Bit like the Burgoyne decision by Hawthorn, they don't want to be seen to "shoot Bambi" so to speak so give them both another year, even though everyone that understands football realises they are both shot.MW wrote:Complete opposite to what I would do.Booney wrote:Looks like Simpsons last game this week, Betts looks likely to play on.
Surely Murphy has to go?Armchair expert wrote:Would rather the reverse tbhBooney wrote:Looks like Simpsons last game this week, Betts looks likely to play on.

Signed a 1 year extension a few weeks ago... baffling decision....Jim05 wrote:Surely Murphy has to go?Armchair expert wrote:Would rather the reverse tbhBooney wrote:Looks like Simpsons last game this week, Betts looks likely to play on.
Wow, he looks the most cooked out of all 3 of those. I’d keep Simpson for another year and flick the other twoJase wrote:Signed a 1 year extension a few weeks ago... baffling decision....Jim05 wrote:Surely Murphy has to go?Armchair expert wrote:Would rather the reverse tbhBooney wrote:Looks like Simpsons last game this week, Betts looks likely to play on.
