Steak sanga and onion rings from the Steak van outside the Cavan Hotel after a big night and the start of another big day.
It's a five stars from me.

Steak sanga from there is a Saturday morning ritual now for brunch, although I erred on Saturday and opted for a Churchill Centre yiros.

After every cafe between Gawler and Gepps was seemingly fully booked out yesterday morning I reluctantly had to opt for Caffe Primo Munno Para as a last resort.

It didn't let us down, the noise in there sounded like a McDonalds playground, our coffee's took 20+ minutes even after jokingly gesturing to accept any coffee's as ours as they were bringing them out, the poached eggs were hard and mushy, the bacon was cold as was the chorizo and the plate had more mushrooms presence than Woodstock.

Added salmon to the smashed avo with poached eggs, bugger all added and them eggs were shithouse too, the avo sauce was actually nice though.

For what the menu looked like vs what was served up it was a thorough disappointment.

1/10, on the never to visit list.

Love On Cafe, Gladstone Road, Mile End.

Fathers Day brunch, there was no bacon on the menu, at all, I mean none, nowhere, nothing, but you could have a beetroot latte. Enough said.

The poached eggs came out covered in pesto.

The mushrooms were tempura battered.

The sausages were Halal and closer to cardboard minced up in leather.

I didn't have a beetroot latte.

I did a double-take on your post ... there is a Love-On cafe on Marion Road at Richmond. Bit small inside for a brunch function, but popular with the tradies and services and they definitely have meat on the menu. I've only ever stopped there for a takeaway coffee and they do that well enough.

Same owners.

No bacon at either but meat available.

Guessing it's a religious objection.

It must be, pastrami ( beef ) and lamb sausages the only meats on offer. Fair to say, it wasn't the bets start to my Fathers Day! ( It got better though )

Their lattes are pretty good. I’ve been here a couple times but it is also on my never to return list.

I had travelled from the Riverland and dropped in to grab a coffee. Prior to the coffee I rushed to the toilet for a piss - gave the door a shove as I opened it, turned out the locks were poor and their sitting on the loo was one of their (female) staff.

Got out of their quicker than you could believe.

My folks went their last week, service & food top notch.
Not the cheapest place but they were more than happy to pay for quality.

Cool, was gonna go there Saturday night but opted out, the prices didn't look too bad for what they have on their menu:

S&P Soft Shell Crab $33.90
Two Lobster Tails with wedges and salad $48.90
Moreton Bay Bugs $41.90

Tossing up between there or the Greek on Halifax for one of their platters.
Prawn, Calimari, Octopus, Fish and Moreton Bay Bugs $135
Lamb Yiros, Chicken Souvlaki, Quail, Lamb Cutlets, Loukanika and Keftedes $130
Prawns, Calamari, Octopus, Lamb Yiros, Lamb Cutlets and Chicken Souvlaki $155

I reckon I'll go option 1 if we go there.

Group of us tried out the Mosaic Hotel (formerly Checkside Tavern) on Saturday. Got there about midday for some beers and bets before dinner, but the TV's were too small in the Spots Bar so we nicked over to the Lakes, and returned to the Mosaic for dinner.

Meals were pretty solid, nothing spectacular but noone had any complaints either. Place looks pretty impressive compared to it's old self and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, a good time was had by all.

Bill came to $600 for the 7 of us, but included multiple bottles of wine, several beers, about 20 spirits and a few cocktails so not really sure how well the place stacks up for value.

Probably an overall rating of say 6.5.
