Wearing a face mask....... you can have a couple of beers, and no one can smell it on your breath.

I bet it's a bugger to suck the beer through the cloth though...

I'm years ahead of my time, as can be seen from my avatar I've been wearing a mask for almost 20 years.

Winter days like today, not a cloud in the sky, no wind!
Missus is back working in an office so got a few choirs done, went for a ride and stopped at the pub for a nice schnitty.
Now time to crack open a few while reading the paper. Loving a 6 day weekend.

PS Apologies to Corona, other Victorians and people that work full time.

You would need a few after doing a few choirs, what's your vocal range? :D

This might be a bit self indulgent, but it's not the intention ... About 9 year ago my body started doing some funky things and two years later I was diagnosed with MS. Doctor said it was a pretty aggressive form and there was a strong chance I'd be in nappies and a wheelchair 1-2 years later. Despite some dark moments behind closed doors in the early years, Ive generally managed to put up a good front and it's not something I really discuss much with people'. Anyhoo, despite relatively staying on top of it mentally, I've always been a bit nervous about the day I needed to move to a chair permanently and I've been pretty convinced for a while that day would arrive this year or early 2021.

Like I said I'm not the type to openly discuss my issues, but having just come back from the rehab specialist who thinks I've done a great job with my physical therapies and that Im not in any immediate need to become wheelchair bound, Im pretty f***in chuffed lol and felt the need to blurt it out. No doubt I'll be embarressed about this post later, but pumped to not have to worry about it for the immediate future :D :partyman:

Geezus mate, shocked to hear that, stoked however to hear that news from your specialist.
A lot of people live relatively normal lives with ms but since yours is an aggressive form it sounds like you've done an amazing job so far, keep up the fight!

That’s awesome JK, all the best mate. Absolutely ZERO to be embarrassed about!

Plenty of blokes on here you can count on if you need a ‘pick me up’ at some stage.

Nothing to be ashamed of JK. It is a life changing journey that has the ability to rock you to the core and for you to be on top of it for the time being, you are well entitled to celebrate the wins when and where they present themselves.

All the best mate!
