Both good calls pag. McDonough looks hard to beat. Although plenty of guys at Lockleys to take votes away

I wonder what the winner(s) will poll.
There will be several multiple winners across the divisions.

You watch there be like a 6-way tie somewhere on 7 votes.

Would you give out 6 medals then, or just countback to the most 1st preference votes?

Just on EP Bedge, you didn’t sound like a fan of their coach. Did you miss out on the job out there? (Genuine question)

If they asked me to and I wasn't doing anything that night I would.

Clearly not a genuine question ... If I wanted it, I'd have it.
Seriously, to be fair Thommo seems a brilliant club person from the outside and definitely committed to the place with the work he does with juniors and seniors etc.. definitely a guy you'd love around the club, and as a club person i'm a big fan.
Thommo reminds me a little like Ocker though - would make a very good footy director, clearly he's passionate and has a good knack for recruiting players.
However, I've seen a bit of him and the sides he's coached over the years - first at Smithfield and then Eastern Park - and I've been fortunate enough to listen to some of his halftime addresses (courtesy of the partition boards in EP). I think tactically he struggles as a coach, and the style of game is better suited to D6 level. He's been fortunate to have some sides with good cattle over the seasons.
The depth at EP is also based on results over recent years, they have struggled in the B grade and hasn't been much depth - therefore you cop a few injuries in the 1s and they get exposed quite badly.
My assessment may have been harsh, but I think it was fair.

For those playing along at home, I've actually only ever applied for a few jobs over the years.
My coaching days are coming to an end though, time to invest with the family and enjoy my weekends.

I only had a quick chat with him but he seemed a decent bloke.

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 5 - 2020
Wilson-King to go very close in the 1's, did miss the first couple of the season but been in very strong form since his return to the field
Could be a Kookas double with Kerr in the 2's dominating each week. Seen a couple of their games this season and he looks a class above that level.
Some very serious talent running around in Div 5

Blake Moser would have to be up there.
Wouldn't rule out Fregona going back to back either.

Wilson King would have got a minimum of 2 votes against Pooraka if the umps got it right.
Looked all class.

Even though Pooraka are now walking an incredibly fine line, I still fancy them to finish 5th based on what I saw 2 weeks ago. Their only issue from here is that if they are off the pace for 2 quarters then from here whether it be minor rounds or in a final then their season is more than likely done.
I heard a couple of comments from different clubs about this year being the survival of the fittest given how many injuries are going around. This is 100% for me. If any clubs in the top 5 can settle their line ups over the next 3 weeks then they are in the box seat to challenge. Players used in the A grade this year across many clubs in just 9 games is beyond belief!
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?
