One is linked to the cluster. She visited a restaurant, shop and gym while infectious.

The other could be a case of community transmission. Still under investigation.

Right near my neck of the woods.

I hold little hope right now reading over those places that lady visited.. most are pretty busy establishments, and Kilburn is highly dense new arrivals community - Indians, Afghans, Sri Lankans especially.

I don't want to sound rude, but do they actually get it? Do they understand?

Do they care?

My experiences along Prospect Road this year in the shops, most seem either oblivious or ignorant to what's happening in the world around them.. and then I look at all the new cases we have been getting over the past few months, and majority seem to be from "repatriation" of citizens coming back from India.

Agha juice house shares property with the Ghan Kebab house - that place is always pumping, especially on a Friday.. Juice house is the ideal spot for dessert when finished.

Najafi Carpet shares a small block of shops with two Afghan Supermarkets, Dry Cleaners, Chemist Warehouse and Saigon Gate.. with a servo directly across the road.

The supermarket is pretty busy most of the time.

Good Old Victorians

Victoria has recorded 439 new cases and 11 deaths overnight.

The ADF door-knocked more than 3,000 homes of people who tested positive - and found 800 people weren't home. A new on-the-spot fine of $4,659 will apply to those caught breaching isolation.

They obviously dont care

I want to know is how do the government deal with those who refuse to pay the fine. If they just get of scot free then its really not a deterrent at all.

Give the bastards a manslaughter charge and have them panicking.

This is exactly why we've seen family gatherings cut, no doubt once they heard where the case was they needed to lock down on large gatherings, let's hope people are listening.

Victoria have a fee of $165.22 per penalty unit and each offence has a prescribed unit amount.
In this case it is deemed as being a 30 unit penalty.
