Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
Has Edmead left Two Wells? If not, someone might want to make sure he never buys a copy of this week's Bunyip!

If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

Hasn’t missed a training session for Two Wells and played in the internal trial on the weekend. Has dropped 5kgs and looking pretty fit also.

Crowd can't have an umbrella. Gotta tough it out like the players.

Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
haha nice day for it tomorrow
balmy 13 degrees with a nice northerly breeze blowing and around 10-15 mm of rain
Will be interesting to see how fit teams are in these conditions.

Are Two Wells taking the piss or are they only playing with 14 players? Only 14 named on sporting pulse?

Going to be an interesting tribunal Wednesday night after hearing a hamley lad was left with a broken jaw, allegedly happened behind the play.

Do you know which Virginia player was involved in the incident?

Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
I watched the Two Wells v Angle Vale game yesterday and for the first 10mins Angle Vale looked half decent and seem like they had a game plan and structure...... Can’t say too much after though! Two Wells completely dominated them after that. The lack of tall defenders, no key forward and small size ruckman for Angle Vale is concerning. I hope for their sack they had a couple players out or its not looking too promising for them again

Was a Hamley lad only just 18 Rethen or something like that and if you have a look at the Virginia side it wont take much to guess.
I imagine the APFL directors might have a few nervous moments.
I wouldnt be surprised if it goes further.

It’s nearly time for AV to maybe part ways with some members of there club, toxic people to have around with their behaviour from the sideline. Leaders of the club in any capacity should know how to conduct and lead by example.

To be honest if i saw either of my lads get whacked behind the play and end up in this alleged way I'd be filthy.
So over thugs, it should be a day out with your mates just having a crack at enjoying life.

Re: Adelaide Plains Football League
The APFL Procedure Manual includes "APFL Prescribed Penalties" this year.
The prescribed "base sanction" for an incident that is intentional, severe impact, high contact is 5+ matches. A punch in the face behind the play that results in a broken jaw and lost teeth ticks all these boxes.
This case will be an acid test for the APFL Tribunal Panel.

In the ammos a punch breaking a jaw would get around the 12 week mark. If you had no history and pleaded guilty then you might expect to get slightly under the 12 to avoid the life ban but it would be touch and go. Is the situation that much different in the country?

They were silly for allowing him into the club in the first place. Hopefully he gets what he deserves. I've also heard the same, may be in hot water legally.
