Yeah a bit strange by CBC
Flinders already have a trial booked against a country side, not sure where that leaves us

And CBC according to the website
will portland even play?
all over 2020..
The Portland Football Club would like to advise our members, sponsors and supporters that due to the situation of the current Covid-19 pandemic we will unfortunately not be participating in the Adelaide Footy League competition for the 2020 season.
This has not been an easy decision and has not been made lightly This has been made with the best interests for the health, safety and welfare of our members, supporters, players and sponsors, and the unrealistic expectations and extra responsibilities put on our wonderful volunteers.
We remain committed in running our junior program with excellent numbers for our teams as well as Auskick being reintroduced
We understand that not everyone may agree with our decision but for the club to be successful in the future this decision had to be made.
Let me reiterate this is not the end of the Portland football club, we will be back in the Adelaide Footy League for season 2021.
Regards
Kym Gaylard

Genuinely feel for Portland to be in that position but cant help but selfishly worry about the impact to us now also. We only had 4 home games scheduled due to the way the draw worked and with this forfeit that could now be 3. Hopefully we can work with the league on making some changes and inherit one of Portlands scheduled home games so that we get 4 at home and 4 away.

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 3 - 2020
Couldn't fill one side?
Wonder if no player payments was a factor, also wonder if they were in struggle town already - they didn't appear to recruit very well but had a number of players exit.
Interesting juniors is going ahead given they appear to have more expectations/responsibilities placed around them.
Oh well, such is life, extended off season i'm sure they'll come back better next year.

He should be working in the canteen for the Juniors, some sort of reimbursement for all the coin he robbed them of!

You really think he can be trusted near a canteen? They’d lose more money

So Havens, Rossies, Smosh could all expect a few to come knocking on the door?
