Saw an internal trial going on, I'd missed the memo as well. But figured who'd play one on a main road if it wasn't allowed.

Jacob Hughes also back to Goodwood after having a crack with Westies in preseason. Thought he may have stuck it out as the lad is an absolute gun. Goodwood may look ok now as they were probably battling in the bottom 5 of Div 1 this year.

Why would Goodwood need to get permission from Pembroke?

They may have played juniors at Goodwood as well as at Pembroke

If they went to Pembroke College and played school foooty for them - that is the same as Pembroke OS being their junior club. Appears they played junior club footy at Payneham. So if they played the minimum 25 junior games for Payneham and Pembroke my interpretation of the transfer rules for this year is that Payneham and Pembroke OS would have to provide the league with the OK to approve these clearances before they could pay for Goodwood. 7 points in one hit.

Tom Edwards and Billy Laurie back to Goodwood. Not sure sure how many points they've got as recruited over half a new team. Will take some beating if they can squeeze them all in somehow
