Re Deluca - there is a huge upside. Young talls can take a long while to develop. And he truly is tall. As much as I hate to say it the Power's eye for talent has been pretty good lately.

Actually when he marked it I said to the Bays blokes I was standing next to that the best to happen to the Bays at that stage would be for the siren to go to make it that much harder.
Even though he wasn't that far out conditions were shocking, one of the strongest cross breezes at a game of footy I've seen.

I feel sorry for Feast. The bloke has had a stellar season, but will be remembered for that kick.

No question ML, just think that such is his talent he should be farther ahead at present than he is ... Not knocking his ability or athleticism, just see a class footballer in him that I would have thought, would have broken out by now .. Appreciate the big blokes take longer.

I don't think anyone on this site would have kicked the goal given the near gale-force conditions.

I think De Luca is still learning and hopefully we'll have him leading our Rucks next year with a well known player from the past :) :) :)

That depends if Josh Mahoney is a poster or not.
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

and Benny Moore did OK minutes before

I was behind the kick and he actually hooked it right off the boot, even on a still day he would have missed

Which quarter Wedgie because the wind died down from halfway through the juniors game until the main event Eagles vs North.
Lets not forget North scored 0 goals kicking to that end in the second quarter.

But when I saw feast mark that ball I thought sturt had won the game . hoped he would miss and he did.

A hell of a lot easier to kick on the run in those conditions mate than set shots and well yes lets be a tad honest here, Lonie is just a slightly better kick than Feasty under any conditions
