The prices were excellent but I thought the crowd was disappointing, I would've expected alot closer to 15,000. I think there's still a problem with staffing at Adelaide Oval, it took about 15 - 20mins to get a ticket, not that I got any food there this time but at other games there this year the staffing at food stands has been dismal.

I was in the chappell stand for the tigers/sturt game and they looked full to me as was the hill, but i couldnt stay for the north/eagles game but i managed to see a bit of it on the tv and the chappell stands looked almost empty. Where are all the Eagle supporters? even at the last couple of grand finals there wernt many.

probably the reason for that would be in the 1st game the weather wasnt flash, then when the 2nd game was on the sun come out.also there was a lot of parents etc in the stands from the u17s.
so i guess they saw the first game but didnt stay for the second?

Thats interesting for me becuase i have watched both the WAFL Finals and the VFL and the crowds were not as big.

On average what would the SANFL expect to a SANFL Finals Game?

Or even a regular Game?

tigersupporter - agree with you. Reckon there would have been 3500 for three teams, but only 1000 for Eagles, which is very disappointing. If we'd had a decent roll-up, then it would have been close to the 15000 Cuttermann was talking about.

Pup, average for a game has been about 2700-2800 for the last few years. Reckon each of the double headers and then prelim final have averaged about 10000 over the last few years, but slighlty down last year.

Thought the crowd was good given the conditions for the first half of the day. But I agree with the staffing regarding the tickets, I too had to wait about 10 minutes to get a ticket. This is the SANFL, shouldn't really be happening.
