Agreed, and Hudson's only 3rd in the league as far as hard ball gets, I'm sure Rhett will improve on that.

Would Biglands ever have even gotten a hard contested ball in his life?

Let's be honest here, Rhett Biglands is one of the worst players on an AFL list.

That's a stupid comment

You have been on the 'lets ditch Rhett' train for a while now, I don't understand what your issue is it seems unbalanced

Huddo had his moments this season but he was better in 2005 IMO

When Biglands kicks it you have no idea where it will end up. His skills are average at best and at least once a game you’ll see him kick it on the full. Very poor decision maker, average skills, and average rucking ability BEFORE his knee reconstruction.

and Hudson has the greatest skills in the world?

no i think not

by far Biglands is better, fitter, stronger, faster, harder

i would have Biglands in my side rather than Hudson

he had a pretty good year considering he was coming back from a knee hondo... expect a big year from him next year IMO... it can take time as can be seen with rodan. will be a big loss for them and i think i a bit unfair to expect too much from biglands.

So by being a better athlete, that makes Rhett better? I know he's quick and strong, but I couldn't give a stuff because he's as average as they come. Pathetic ruckman and terrible skills.

Hudson is a much better player and anyone who thinks otherwise is kidding themselves.

Hypothetical:

1:Round 1,2007,Rhett Biglands is fit,Ben Hudson is fit. Both get picked to play, who leads the ruck?

2: Hudson and Biglands play all 22 games in 2007,on solid SANFL form, would Meeson,Maric,Griffin force one of those 2 out of the side?

3: How can Adelaide afford to let him go?

Both of them are great players but i think both have around the same skill level and rucking ability but i would prefer to have Biglands in my side for that extra bit of hardness, toughness and speed.

Plus Biglands can play anywhere really.

1. Hudson

2. Hudson #1, Meesen 2, Griffin FF. Biglands Eagles (reserves)

3. Biglands or Hudson? Biglands can easily be replaced, Hudson not so easily.
