30 new cases in SA. 6 in ICU. All males ages 52 or above.

11 cases among baggage handlers, 2 family members of baggage handlers.

If you have been to the airport or airport car park in the last 14 days and have any symptoms you are required to come forward for testing.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I work at the airport so have daily work inside and around the terminal so know plenty of the staff affected. I’m off work currently so look to have escaped the fiasco but due back on Monday so things could be very different

How can more baggage handlers have tested positive if they’ve just found out?
Doesn’t it still take 4 days for the results?

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying has rejected suggestions the country's exports were faulty.
"A large number of Chinese manufacturers are working around the clock to help other countries save lives," she said yesterday.

It's all about saving LIVE$...

2 of the blokes I spoke to around lunch time got their results back around 11am after being tested around 4pm yesterday so I presume testing is going on around the clock?

My brother's in defence. He had his results back the next day too.
I apologise.

And, onto China's continuing lie:

https://www.scmp.com/news/china/society ... classified

The SCMP is usually pretty soft when dealing with the mainland so they must have really checked this out

Why soft? Because their editor / sub-editors could easily disappear and turn up in the mainland

Hating it ATM because I’m not getting paid and I get bored easily at home.
I know I take a stack of holidays but I don’t mind my job when I’m there.
I don’t mind cooking so that’s one positive to come out of this and the wife is loving coming home to tea on the table.

Far from it but cooking does interest me purely because I love a variety of food that we experience OS so I want to replicate it here. I always try to do a cooking class when on holidays.
I made a pretty good Thai Laksa the other night and do a pretty mean braised pork belly
