Interesting to hear that Judd's manager said that his future club would need to be a finals contender and a premiership contender

surely that than counts out Richmond and Carlton

mmmm isn't that why Buckely left Brisbane to play in a premiership...
Carlton will be playing finals footy in a couple of years...
Apart from Geelong, there isn't a stand out team in Melbourne which could guarantee finals and premiership contention...

with or without Judd, I don't believe it is a given that Carlton will be playing footy in 4-5 years

Comments by Mathew Llyod, I don't believe it is appropriate for the Captain of a club to nominate players as trade bait

ESSENDON are prepared to use their West Australian first-round AFL draft picks Paddy Ryder and Scott Gumbleton in trade negotiations for Chris Judd, according to captain Matthew Lloyd.

"We'll have pick six and where West Coast are going to like Essendon is we have plenty of great West Australian young talent at our footy club," Lloyd said on radio station Sport 927.

But did Lloyd actually name any WA players at Essendon, he just said there was a lot of WA talent at the Bombers and the Bombers have filled in the spaces. I think Leroy Jetta is from WA as well, so it could be him, and every other WA bred player amongst the Bombers ranks hes referring to.

I guess it will depend on how long-term West Coast are looking for ... They have a nucleus to challenge for the next 4 years at least, would they look for someone more senior (say 25yrs old) rather than kids?

Trevor Nisbett said that but Worsfold said that WCE will be looking for early picks or Established players that will make our 22 so dont rule out playersbeing involved in this trade.

I'll love it if the Eagles say Pendlebury or Thomas or no deal, and Collingwood miss out :D

Really good captain if that was the case  .. It wont surprise me though. He has come out and said he is used to having great facilities and that sort of thing and with Collingwood having the Lexus Centre and Eddie being able to get him whatever he wants in the World, it might just be the case.

Which Are:

Scott Gumbleton
Courtney Johns
Paddy Ryder
Kyle Reimers
Leroy Jetta
Kepler Bradley

Red- The only ones WCE would have any interest in IMO and Ryder lucky to be included in that

Blue- Personal Interest, think WCE and Freo would like to give him a chance (Not part of Judd deal)

Essendon could be Judds home, considering all the WA talent Essendon has to offer, really the only players that WC would be interested in would be Scott Gumbleton, Patty Ryder and maybe Jetta, considering that Essendon will also free up some cash from retiring James Hird, Camporeale, Essendon are in a great position to go get Judd! Also rumours that Jobe Watson could be offered, would WCE be interested in Watson...

Theoretically-
Judd to Collingwood
Didak to Crows
Hudson to Western Bulldogs
WB 1st Draft Pick to Collingwood in turn to WCE
Player form Collingwood to WCE

This is only an opinion of mine, not a rumour- although it does factor in the rumour of Didak returning to the Crows

you should not be able to bet on that.. because they say that simon goodwin could have insider information bout betting. but you think that club Admin would have a better idea before the draft where he is going.and i bet you they are still aloud to bet
