I aired my concerns, a leave pass was granted, I dutifully accepted.

Kanye West's six year old daughter's 'rap' debut at a fashion show. Video in the link below.

https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/music/news/north-west-rap-kanye-west-yeezy-paris-fashion-week-show-sunday-service-a9371136.html

For anyone else, a kid babbling into a microphone is reserved for the family room. For someone as conceited as Kanye, it's a public performance worthy of Paris fashion week. That apple's not falling far from the tree.

This will probably be lost on anyone that hasn't travelled through this area but here goes.....

A couple of years ago, the Government, in their infinite wisdom, decided not to let traffic turn right at the intersection of Sudholz and NE Roads.

Instead, you have to "turn left" at chicken chef and then turn right onto Sudholz Rd if you want to drive on Sudholz

(adds 5 minutes and 2 extra sets of traffic lights to my drive home but that's for the shits thread)

Anyhoo.... what I don't understand is -

Why the F*** would anyone in their right mind, use this slip lane to turn right onto Sudholz, only to turn left again onto NE Rd?

WHY WOULDN"T YOU JUST KEEP DRIVING STRAIGHT AHEAD!?!?!

THIS HAPPENS EVERY F%*^&N DAY! HOW STUPID DO YOU HAVE TO BE? SERIOUSLY?

To avoid a lengthy red light wait at the NE/Sudholz intersection?

I'm currently doing some comparative time trials for my trip to work as now I have 5 different options, it's pretty redundant though until the connector becomes a 110 zone, I think I'm going to have to travel further in higher speed limits with less traffic lights.

This is it - there is no lengthy line wait, it takes a lot less time to go straight ahead, than turn left, wait 3 minutes and the wait another 2-3 minutes at the NE RD intersection again to turn left becuase the traffic is banked up.

I just can't think of any reasonable or logical explanation for these people's actions.

To be honest, I reckon it's because they think they can shortcut into the shopping centre going this way - but there isn't.

Being at home in a Thursday arvo/evening when I'm usually at training, it just didn't feel right.

It would of been cricket today preparing for a semi final this weekend then possibly a grand final next week before turning to footy training as I move into footy mode. I love training so being told it's canceled (even though it's for the greater good) is deflating.

Got home from work this arvo then went for a run, chilled out, did some chores then sat down to eat dinner and watch the footy and it felt so weird being at home at that time.

I guess I'm going to have alot more time on my hands to do things around home for now and for example without cricket this weekend I can finish my door project. I got wardrobe and ensuite doors and frames made and put in and I've done all the prep and paint work doing it over the last 4 Sundays and now I can finish it this weekend.
