Winlock squints has been in a few races we've been involved in. Always the dog hitting line the hardest, but normally coming from a long long way back.

Yep absolutely, will be hitting the line hard after railing up on the bend. There won't be a lot of runners on the rail so should get a clear passage through and finish it off.

As you can see I am not overly confident that it should smash this field with the odds rated Believe the 1 is well drawn and the 4 also gets good chance here. 7 is reliable to lead, and if any trouble happens behind will be beneficiary of that.

#3,5 WIN

Lots of questions in this race, is the most recent form for #2 accurate of new ability. If so, then has no chance of winning this race.
#6 is also out of sorts since returning too. #4 also out of sorts, would stand a good chance here on best form, but lately been out of sorts. Only consistent runner who does begin well is the #5. For mine it's a tricky race to line them all up, but one thing is that the #5 looks good here.

I also feel like #3 has been the improver in the field in recent races despite having 129 races.

There's a result!
And almost got the big div with the 3 who had zero luck early there.

Generally as a rule for place bets, I usually have something small a win......for instances like that. My theory is if they can place it doesnt take much more luck to win....unless you are Wears Woodleigh...

yeah, haha, it's hard to line them up actually.
#1 can be a bit of a cat and preferes Ballarat, will likely find the #2 coming across it early. #4 is favourite on old formline, last two races are very unconvincing for mine, so hard to follow. We know Kaide is out of it at the moment, waiting to return to form. And #8 stays wide early and wide mid and tries to cut the bend.
I also see #1 struggling the distance. If Spyfection begins well with the inside box vacant and finds the room on the outside, if near the leaders on T2 after being flat mid race will charge home strong.

The main question for mine is of course the #4 returning to old form. Will bring me unstuck.

No it gets too far back, Spyfection does what normally does, but I actually thought the 2 would be in front at that stage giving Spyfection the chance to drift out and cut back in without any issue. Was great odds though in that field !!
