Wasn't overly cool....
Much better today, the colour is coming out more but not so much pain, just a dull ache until I over stretch or step wrong and there is a sharp reminder that I am a complete idiot...

Adam Treloar did both I reckon.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Jase wrote:So older Junior Jase has been talking up how.much bigger, stronger and faster he is than me these days and he was needling me so much that Australia Day we had a sprint from one end of the.local oval to the other...
Now he's a couple of inches taller than me and he's a wirey BUGGER so he's got me in the strength area as well but there is no way he's faster than me...
Mrs Jase just shook her head and we started the race... Junior was a yard ahead of me after 50m but I hadn't tuned the jets on, hit the gas and bang bang, both Hammies have near exploded...
Mrs Jase looked at me, rounded up the kids and walked home...
I had to shuffle the 600m home, Mrs did come.and pick me up half way home, gave me the frozen peas and then just quietly sniggered as she messaged her friends about he idiot husband...
This is me yesterday...
Stupid old age...
Similar story....
Took U14 girls training. Warmed up, did everything and the body felt pretty good (for an old fart). I asked the girls to pick the cones up at the end of training. She said "race you to the cone". Ego took hold. I took off, chased her down, got two steps from the cone and BANG.... hammy blows out. I had a committee meeting straight afterward and by crikey I'd forgotten how difficult it is to sit down with a torn hammy.
Then I get home and get a lecture "you're nearly 50 and you're trying to race a 13 year old!". Hmm, crash, down to earth.
Many bags of ice later, I am back on the bike but I still can't run or kick a footy.

At a show Saturday night, one dickhead ruined the night for everyone else.

Often the way, sadly. Did justice prevail with Mr Dickhead being put back in his place?

No, he's got far more practice at that sort of thing than anyone there.

It has happened before and will again. Copping a touch up might be the best thing for him in the long run.

Can feel your frustration. On Saturday the family did the foam fest fun run. I tried to race my son on one of the slides & just as I've dived onto it I've slipped & torn my hammy. Bad news is its a high grade tear & couldn't finish the rest of the course, good news is I beat him to the bottom of the slide. Gotta stop trying to compete with him considering he's 18, solidly built & a fully qualified PT.

When your own organisation that is, on many levels, completely and utterly inept also shows no interest in rectifying the issues.

If you want to go far, go together.

Our Melbourne plant is a ******* zoo, there's no accountability, no discipline.
I complained about some manufacturing issues, the production manager rang me to discuss, I voiced those concerns and he talked over me with "Blah Blah Blah", literally over the top of me.
I told him to get ******, in that many words.
I'll let you know how my next call goes.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
If you want to go far, go together.
