Peoples thoughts on this (third world problem )

Driving along Greenhill Road , last in the line of traffic and 300m vacant behind. Car flys past (doing 80-100 in a 60 zone) and decides to try and squeeze in a gap that wasn’t there.

1. Do you not let them in as they only have to brake one car?

2. Think wanker and hold them out?

Case study:

I'm at a t-junction turning left on to a two laned road.
The left hand lane is empty for some time yet the right lane (fast lane) is spasmodically in use.

If I pulled out and stayed in the left lane and a car changed lanes (from the right lane) and hit me, who's in the wrong?

You unfortunately. This is why so many people wait until both lanes are clear which frustrates the hell out of me but can understand

Goldsborough Road, Cavan is a classic example for it, except there's 3 lanes, quite often people 5 or 6 deep go into the Sportsfishing Scene carpark to cut the ones at the front of the line off too.

In that case Racing.com has replays of trials in Victoria and SA. Cranbourne from Tuesday are up.
