What do people do with their foxtel box once they have finished with foxtel?

I've had my two for 14 months with no foxtel and still have another two that weren't taken away when I last upgraded, do I just toss them? Surely they'd hit me up by now if they wanted them.

I upgraded to one of the newer ones about 12 months ago and last week I got a letter stating that if I didn’t send the old one back they would add $140 to my bill. If you haven’t got an account anymore I’m not sure what they do though

Yeah, they told me over the phone to send it back to avoid any costs but gave me no details to send it to, they'd still have my address as it was linked to my telstra account when I cancelled it.

We cancelled our Foxtel account a couple of weeks back, and were told to hand our boxes in at the local post office.

However, if you haven't been told to do anything with yours after all this time, I'd say you're all clear.

I would've thought Corona Man has experienced on more than one occasion a self-imposed illness not unlike a virus due to prolonged exposure to and ingestion of Corona.

Anyone else got their electricity meter inside the house?
Ours is in the laundry.

Getting SAPower to read it is a nightmare.
We get an estimated bill each quarter but need it read once a year to correct itself.

They tell you they’ll be there between a 7 day period.
I said I work and need a day and approx time.
Apparently they can’t do that.

I get home today and they’ve been here and left a slip saying they will estimate the bill again.

The dumb **** want to read my meter but can’t be specific with a day.
Retarded I swear!

I go with AGL now, I get monthly bills and most of them are estimates with the option of using their app to give them the exact reading, they even send me a reminder that a bill is coming up so I can send a reading early.

It's very handy budget-wise, I'll pay extra on the months when my car rego isn't due so I'm not getting slapped around all in the one hit, I've actually been in credit a couple of times with my gas bills.
