Henry will play next Test. Hopefully Astle too. Santner is a waste of space at the moment.
Santner will end up being a specialist 12th man, his fielding is as good as anyone’s.
Peter Siddle has announced his international retirement. Will finish with 67 tests, taking 221 test wickets @30.66, 13th on the most test wicket for Australia list.

Serviceable hard worker who wore his heart on his sleeve.
I wasn’t his biggest fan but had respect for the bloke who clearly took pride and understood what the baggy green means.
Wish him all the best in the future, I hope he makes a mint playing the t20 circuit he deserves it.

Another reason why we should’ve enforced the follow on, Smith is Wagner’s bitch and the rest of the world is rubbing their hands together. This must’ve been a directive from CA to keep the game going longer, only Warner and Marnus would’ve wanted to bat again.
I don’t get why we don’t enforce the follow on anymore. While you have your opponents down and out, keep it that way and finish them.
We’ve been scarred since VVS Laxman killed us with the reverse outright.

Wagner is setting the field and bowling to that field. It does appear that Smith is falling to that trap every time. Got to give Wagner credit as well.
I’m a big fan of Wagner already, he has a plan for each batsman and is patient in executing it, I love his grit and perseverance
