Re: Trans Tasman Trophy
Soft dismissal, Burns gives Santner his first wicket.
Smith looking to score early, maybe him and Wade will look to accelerate?

Re: Trans Tasman Trophy
Think his runs in first innings were useful. But what he does need is to develop a FLEXIBLE strategy to the short ball. First innings he decided to not play any cross bat shots. Second innings he was going to thrash anything short. Think he needs to play each short ball on its merits and not attempt to implement an inflexible approach formulated before he reaches the crease.locky801 wrote:His form is definately a big worryJim05 wrote:Wagner again FFS!

Perhaps take a leaf out of Paines philosphy in first innings.

Batting practice.
Save Head and rest him for the 3rd test.

Re: Trans Tasman Trophy
Definitely gets the most out his ability but I’m still staggered at how his pedestrian garbage gets wickets. As others have said his career would have lasted 1 test in any other erawoodublieve12 wrote:I could watch Wagner bowl everyday. Love the way he goes about it

Re: Trans Tasman Trophy
8 for 170 declared looks a hell of a lot better if they're looking to move the game along.

Not even the slightest bit garbage.
