The fire at Gepps Cross this morning was deliberately lit.

Unreal, got to wonder about the cudlee creek fire also, when there is a fire in the hills its amazing how many times it is in that area.

A tree falling on a power line is suspected to have sparked a major bushfire at Cudlee Creek.

An SA Power Networks spokesman said early indications suggested the tree fell on to active power lines.

The brain dead **** over the road..
Apparently had a bonfire going.....and went to the shops....another neighbor coming home from colonnades spotted the flames from that bonfire that were higher than the roof of the house.
Another neighbour over the road, was watering his front yard, would have seen the fire and the smoke that was blowing towards his house from over the road, just didn't do a thing.

So the good neighbour was trying to put it out with buckets , while asking for assistance from the guy with the hose....which evidently never came....until the firies showed up.

Couldn't agree more, people trying to make political points in these times amaze me, doesnt matter if their point is valid or not, should be one sole focus on what we can do to help those in need and control the fires, nothing else.

I saw a post on a service station where they were portraying a local service station as Villians because they were charging $44 for an 8 pack of Mt Franklin 1.5 litre waters. Walk in to any service station in Australia and if you get a single bottle of Mt Franklin 1.5 litre water for under $5.50 each off promotion then you’re doing well. Independent Servos run off the smell of an oily rag and are hard work... It’s just a dead set witch hunt from some ordinary people.
