Wedgie, Where did you get that guernsey without the sponsors name plastered all over it from?

Got 2 of them, bought them in the very first year we went back to the Vee, you'll notice the Vee is a lot higher than the current day guernsey too.

I got no 18 because I was a Wayne Rosenboom fan, and I actually have Wayne Carey's autograph on one of them. :D

What a great day of finals footy, both games went down to the wire.

I was at the Cathedral with a few mates before the North game, and as we walked to the ground we saw a few Bay fans and asked how they went "oh we won by a point" and I thought they were joking, didn't seem pumped at all!

I cop a lot of crap from brethren from Prospect as I think Im the only bloke who barracks for North and has a soft spot for the Bays, but this was what I posted on the snoutlouts tonight:

Wedgie wrote:lol, I was jumping around like an idiot hugging everyone crying after the first game, took me an hour to compose myself and then I was jumping around like an idiot hugging everyone crying after the second game!

Couldn't have been a better day for my 37th birthday.

Only downside was I wore my lucky jocks that lost their elastic 15 months ago and it was bloody uncomfortable when they were around my ankles today!

GO YOU BAYS!!!

No issues there, I didn't even get around to buying a budget despite walking in and out of the ground about 15 times. :(

Crikey, not a good couple of weeks for Sturt fans, would have been sitting there at half time wondering if they'd make the GF or Prelim at half time last week only to be out 8 days later. :(

It's not Rocket Science that we have suffered over the last 1.5 games, but hey, there can only be one winner this year and we sure did better this year than 99% of pundits thought.

Here's to 2008.

Apologies for not taking photos of the game though (and I only took them for about 15 mins of the North game).

I like to let my hair down in the finals, it really is hard getting into games or enjoying yourself when you're taking photos even though I do enjoy taking pics, I went hard at it last week with all 4 games so thought I might get a bit of slack during the finals.

Good to see you've got your chin up mate, North fans thought we'd be where you are now, rest assured in the fact that you got a lot further than most expected and you've got a hell of a lot of young exciting blokes in that squad with IMHO one of the better coaches going around.
I don't even like Sturt but I'm excited about seeing players like Charlie Sharples next year!

Full marks to the noise that the Sturt fans brought today too, I was critical on their efforts last week but from out in the car park and later in the game when I entered the ground the Sturt fans were very loud today.
